Short report on inauguration of sports training center for children with special needs

The event organized on 26 March 2023 by retired officers of tourism department ,maam Angmo is the   they have found an organization called “special Bharat Olympic” the main objective of the event is to promote the children and youth in sports at national and international level. This event has organized to inaugurate the regular sports training center at leh for children with disabilities.

The event was organized in collaboration with REWA Society, all the logistic arrangement was provided by Indian army (Ladakh scout). Logistic include tent, music system, carpets chairs sofa, tea, samosa, momos ,sweets,,bread etc.

The chief guest of the event was District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner/ CEO LAHDC Leh Sh. Shrikant Balasaheb Sues, IAS and guest of honour Mr Tsering Tas District Youth Services and Sports Officer,special guest Madam Angmo ZEO (zonal education officer) and guest madam Naida nodal officer responsible for children with disabilities in Ladakh.

Event was very successful many kids from different NGOs participated like Munsil Pagir and kharnakling school , all the kids also participated in sports and cultural program ,special Bharat Olympic has appointed  two sports  teacher at leh specially from children with disabilities , who will identify the talented kids from all over Ladakh and train and enable them to participate at national and international level.

Many positives approach is emerging day by day year by year for the children with disabilities, District magistrate also promised to help us in many aspects for the welfare of children with special need, education department and sports department also ensured us to help as much as possible.

Madam Angmo president of special Olympic Bharat also donated 10000 rupees to REWA society she impressed with our services.

All the participant including guest were provided lunch facilities from special Olympic Bharat every one enjoyed the lunch, Childrens enjoyed the event a lot.
