Health Camp in Batalik, Kargil, October 31st, 2021

Snow and cold in Kargil

 

Despite extremely bad weather, there was a health camp put on for children with disabilities in Batalik by the Indian Army. The Rewa Team Kargil sends this report: 

 

The special Health camp was organized by Indian Army for the specially abled children of Batalik area of Kargil on 31.10.2021. In this collaboration REWA team Kargil and another ENJOY Spreading smile charitable Trust was organized by Indian Army Unit Batalik during the occasion proceeded for Batalik village Kargil which is located at 80 kms distance from Kargil. The team was also accompanied by Dr. Shujat Ali Ortho of District Hospital Kargil. During the program 17 specially abled children were assessed and medical health certificates were issued in their favour. Bus for carrying children government were arranged. By Indian Army lunch for team was arranged during the camp. Public as well as Indian Army showed their appreciation for the team for attending the event, travelling through snow bound and slippery road so in harsh cold....pics of event are enclosed.
