Annual membership board meeting for REWA Leh

Board members meeting on December 2019.

               

On 7th December Board members meeting organised at new Rewa rehabilitation centre at Tukcha Government school, in which following points were discuss and shared.

             Updated about Rewa society

             Discuss on strategic planning for REWA 2020.

             Budget etc.

13 people participated on this meeting including REWA staff. It was very interesting and productive meeting.

 

At the meeting generally  more discussion were focused on income generation for REWA 2020 project.

In the meeting it was suggested by most of the members regarding the increase numbers of membership, which is crucial for the organisation to get support continuously in the form of membership fee and volunteer form.

2nd important activities for fundraising is to organised some interesting event during the summer for tourist like, cultural program show ,sports celebration, invite influential leaders, reach and enthusiastic community  for presentation on REWA and student performance show, because in Leh there are many people who are rich and also looking for an opportunity for donate so this could be a potential for us to get fund.

 

All the members appreciate the summer capacity building program organised by Ladakh hilfe   which really opens the eyes of everyone, it was a big influential strategy which feed to every staff , parents and members.

Board members decided to have a meeting after the reopening of institution  from winter vacation to have a specific strategic planning for the summer.
