Dorjay sent me the pictures of the grand opening ceremony in Batalik. The new REWA therapy center is warmly welcomed and many local people attended. The entire REWA staff from Kargil, Mr. Gulzar and his wife, Rewa vice president Angchok from Leh, Indian Army representative, local government and many families with special needs children attended. Children performed dances, many speeches were held and local food offered. 

We are very happy this event took place and now there is REWA-Hope in this area.

For the beginning REWA staff will come once a week for therapy and assessment. The Army will help with informing parents and transporting the children to the center.
