EC LAHDC Kargil Launched B&N Foundation Banglore’s Nutrition Distribution Campaign from Shargandik
In Ladakh, to improve the health condition and to improve nutrition value of the malnutritioned children, B&N foundation, Bangalore Based NGO President and Founder Miss Bhavya Narasimhamurthy organised a nutrition campaign at Shargndi Village of Barsoo block, Kargil district.
The children of REWA Society na Kasko Kargil were among the beneficiaries to receive some of the help of the NGO from Bangalore.
On this occasion Executive Councillor Engineer Punchok Tashi was the Chief Guest and other present include Volunteers Siddique from Bangalore and Zakir Hussain from Kargil with the help of Councillor Barsoo Sheikh Ansari, Councillor Thasgam Abdul rahim, panch member Mr Fida along with village representatives were present.
The Chief Guest distributed Nutrition packets to 50 BPL children aged 6-10 years & 20 disabled children.
Engineer Tashi appreciated the effort of the B & N foundation in this remote village and offered all possible logistics support to the foundation from LAHDC, Kargil.
He also made a mention that as desired by the CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, B&N foundation chose Kargil's remotest village Barsoo for this project launch. To assess and offer assistance to differently abled children of Shargandi village, Barsoo, REWA special school coordinator Sajjad Munshi and Dr Farzana, Physiotherapist at REWA, were also present.
