On 12 September, our school organised a traditional costume show. The children wore traditional costumes and proudly showcased our rich culture and traditions in the school hall.

The aim of the festival is to celebrate and showcase the traditional costumes, culture and history of our region. It helps to preserve our local traditions and introduce them to the younger generation. The children from Rewa also took part in the programme to build their self-confidence, learn to respect their culture and traditions, and understand the significance of our cultural heritage. It also promotes inclusion and participation.

A particular highlight of the programme was the joint performance by the pupils from Rewa, together with the pupils from Munshi Habibullah School, during the showcase. With great joy and enthusiasm, they presented their respective traditional costumes. Their enthusiastic participation was warmly acknowledged by the guest of honour and other guests, and conveyed an important message of inclusion and equal participation at the cultural festival.
