The circle is complete. Our goal from the outset was to help people help themselves. When REWA Leh received recognition as a non-profit organization in autumn 2023 (we had reported on how many years we had fought for this), we did not hesitate for long. The employees got to work and diligently recruited local donations and aid. They were so successful that they have been able to cover their own expenses since this year. For us, it was like a child growing up and moving out of the family home... A crying and a laughing eye accompanied them in these steps. We are very happy with the result, it is something to be proud of. In 2023, we were able to largely complete the new therapy center in Leh. The team will take care of the final improvements and the completion of the outdoor facilities themselves with the help of local contractors. We will continue to support REWA Leh with specialist, therapeutic and professional advice.
