Children need hope, they need REWA
Children need hope, they need REWA

Impressions from everyday life

The pupils take part in the activities with great joy and enthusiasm.

It is a fun game in which the children run in a zigzag pattern and then sit down on a chair.

The aims of this activity: to improve gait and coordination.

Running back and forth between the chairs requires the child to change direction quickly. This helps to develop foot placement, balance and whole-body coordination.

Archo Fatima, special needs teacher

Whilst the children are playing and jumping about outside, the therapy rooms present a whole different set of challenges, which they tackle and overcome with focus and determination.

Our therapy focuses on building strength, coordination and independence.

Fine motor skills:

Therapeutic activities and adaptive seating aids to improve hand strength, coordination and concentration during everyday tasks.

Gross motor skills & balance:

Stepping and walking exercises to improve stability, proprioception and strength in the lower limbs.

Cognitive & functional play:

Structured games and aids to promote concentration, creativity, precision and motor planning.

Through these activities, the children improve their strength and coordination via stepping exercises to improve balance and fine motor tasks such as fitting pieces together to strengthen finger strength.
