World Disability Day is celebrated on December 3rd every year to promote awareness and inclusion of people with disabilities. Our organization/school celebrated this day with various activities and events.

The event was conducted in collaboration with (REWA NA KASCO ) the Health Department, School Education Department, Bagirya Health Care & Research Centre (BHC&RC) Kargil, and the Regional Art & Theatre Group (RaNTHAG). Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil, Imteeaz Kacho (JKAS), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with senior officials and representatives from various collaborating organisations.The programme showcased a variety of performances by specially-abled children, highlighting their talent, resilience, and creativity. RaNTHAG presented a meaningful skit emphasising the abilities and potential of special children. As part of its CSR initiative, the Truck Cooperatives Union Kargil handed over a cheque of 3,00,000 lakh to the District Social Welfare Officer to support welfare activities for specially-abled individuals.

The World Disability Day celebration was a resounding success, with a massive turnout of participants, including parents, students, and esteemed dignitaries. The event proved to be a valuable experience, fostering awareness and inclusion of people with disabilities. We eagerly anticipate organizing more such events in the future.
