Ethnic food festival

An Ethnic Food Festival on 13th of September 2025 was celebrated in Munshi Habibullah higher sec. School kargil about the diverse cultures within the school community, featuring stalls with various traditional dishes it was about cuisine and heritage. The event successfully fostered teamwork, promoted cultural exchange, and created a vibrant, traditional atmosphere for students, faculty, and guests, raising awareness of local traditions and connecting participants to their cultural roots. 


Event Details


Objective: To promote cultural awareness, reconnect students with their heritage, and foster community spirit through the celebration of diverse ethnic cuisines. 
Activities: Students and teachers showcased a variety of traditional and fusion local ladakhi dishes from different cultures through decorated food stalls. 


Participants: The event involved students, teachers, faculty, parents, and guests, including dignitaries and local community members. 


Atmosphere: The festival was described as a vibrant, bustling, and celebratory event filled with delicious aromas and colorful decorations. 


Key Highlights


Culinary Diversity: A wide array of cuisines, from local ladakhi dishes, were offered, providing attendees an opportunity to sample different flavors.

 
Educational Platform: The festival served as an great platform to highlight the nutritional, historical, and cultural significance of traditional foods and practices.

Cultural Connection: It was an effective way to preserve local food traditions and encourage the younger generation to appreciate and sustain their cultural heritage. Rewa children give their best to make an inclusive participation. 


The festival was a resounding success, promoting teamwork, creativity, inclusive ness and cultural exchange. It provided a memorable experience for all attendees, highlighting the school's commitment to celebrating its multicultural community and connecting students to their cultural roots.
