Construction work in Kargil is in full swing and the building shell is already looking very promising.

The ground floor of the building will house the new therapy rooms, whilst the upper floors will be part of the Munshi Habibullah School.

The ground floor is a large room with a capacity of around 200 people, which can be used for events and will in future be divided into four therapy rooms by three movable walls. There is also a disabled-accessible toilet on the ground floor.

The cladding and interior fittings are due to be completed within the next two months.

Our plan is to power the lighting, sockets and electric heating via a solar power system, in order to provide a sustainable energy supply for the therapy rooms. The necessary funding for this is still lacking; a grant application has been submitted, and we are eagerly awaiting a response and keeping our fingers crossed!
