Over the past few years, we have regularly organised online training courses on a wide variety of specialist topics, and as this collaboration has progressed, the topics have become more challenging. It has become apparent that the team’s English has its limitations. A solution was therefore needed to ensure that we can continue to deliver high-quality specialist training effectively in future.

The proposal was to bring their English up to the required standard this year whilst continuing with their work, and then again during the winter break next winter. The proposal was accepted with great enthusiasm and gratitude.

So now, every day during their lunch break, the team sit in front of the blackboard as ‘pupils’ themselves and diligently practise grammar, reading, conversation and writing.

The initial aim is to reach B2 level; if desired, they are welcome to continue beyond that....

The lessons are sponsored by a local sponsor from Kargil.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks!
