My third journey to Kolkata on March 16th was really great, and I didn’t face any problems during the travel. I had already booked the same PG room before leaving for Kolkata.
During this second personal contact program (PCP), classes are being conducted on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
We visited an inclusive school in Mysore for our practical work.
Right now, I am fully engaged with my practicals because we’ve each been assigned an individual child to prepare a case study, individualised educational program (IEP), and functional assessment checklist for program (FACP) for pre-primary students. I am currently focusing on five domains in the FACP for one pre-primary girl, and I’m also working on the task analysis. I have set both short-term and long-term goals for her development.
Functional Assessment Checklist for Programming (FACP):
Focusing on the following 5 domains for 1 PP girl:
1. Personal Domain (PD):
Goal – Improve the child’s ability to hold and drink water from a glass independently.
2. Social Domain (SD):
Goal – Improve the child’s ability to greet teachers/elders at school & home.
3. Academic Domain (AD):
Goal – Improve the child’s ability to hold a pencil and scribble.
4. Occupational Domain (OD):
Goal – Improve the child’s ability to dust furniture in class & at home using a duster.
5. Recreational Domain (RD):
Goal – Improve the child’s ability to play with a ball.
This is my 1st experience with online classes. For Personal Contact Programming, I will need to submit my Practical Record to the university.
