Fieldtrip Barsoo August 24th, 2019

First of all i want to introduce our Rewa team. Which was on Barsoo fieldtrip. Our team Coordinator Sajad , Physiotherapist Amina ,Driver Hamid and me Bilquis physiotherapist.

 

On Saturday the 24.08.2019 we left in the morning at 7.00am from Kargil to Umba. Our first patient Mohammad Hassan lives in Umba. Mohammad Hassan is 19 year old and his diagnosis is bilateral cerebral palsy. We did some exercise with him stretching legs, breaching exercise, sitting to standing and showed some exercise to his father and we clean his hair and feet also he looks very deity, his father said on that time they have field work that’s why they don’t have time to clean. When we reach his house and he is smelling and he remember our face.

 

After that we visited our next patient Zakir Hussain is 23 year old his diagnosis is Hemiparesis right side, he is not at home.

 

After that we visited next patient Mohamad Baquir. His diagnosis is Intellectual Impairment. We gave him cap and we cannot do nothing and we visited next patient Ruba. She is 21 year old her diagnosis is hemiplegia left side we did some exercise with her shoulder mobilisation, wrist and finger mobilisation and showed some exercise to her. She likes therapy and we gave her soft ball. She is totally independent and she uses her left hand.

 

Next patient Fatima Nissa she is 13 year old her diagnosis is Bilateral Spastic CP we did exercises stretching lower limb, four foot position and try to looking her grandmother for head control, put in the corner and pillow support and try to grabing toys and we showed to grandmother how to put in the corner. We gave her some worm cloth.

 

Next patient we visit Akbar Ali is 13 year old his diagnosis is intellectual impairment and knee contracture, we do little exercise stretch his knee. He beat himself so we trying massage for his whole body and told his mother to do this massage at home for body relaxing. 

 

Next patient we visit Abass Ali he was expired.

After that we visited next village Barsoo the patient Mohd Hanifa he is 14 year old his diagnosis is Bilateral CP more right side when we visit his house and he was very happy and he told us last year we showed some exercise he remember and he is doing his daily exercise  and he show us all exercise. After that we do some exercise stretching hamstring, cuff muscles. We gave him clothes.

 

Next  patient shabir hussain. His house is far away from the road Shabir Hussain is 11 year old and his diagnosis is Bilateral CP more left side, we visit him in his field he is so active boy. In lotus position he is cutting grass with his mother and father we do some exercise sitting to standing, walking with help and we gave him some warm cloth. Hygienic situation was not good. We try to clean him but he don’t want.

 

After that we visited next patient Shar Banoo she is also from Barsoo. Shar Banoo 16 year old she is living with her parents. Her diagnosis is bilateral spastic CP she is always in lying position we do exercise wrist mobilisation and sitting in the corner and trying to grabing chocolate. We showed exercise to her sister to put in the corner and pillow support and grabing exercise in sitting position we told the sister don’t put in lying position always.

 

After that we move another village Thila. The patient is Kazim but he move to another place. Next village Brakoo. We visited patient house there are two patient in one house they are brother and sister first patient Fatima Nisa she is 7 year old, her diagnosis is Hemiplegia left side, she is going to normal school her mother said this year she is using left hand more than last year and we told her using always both hand, we give to Fatima clay for hand exercise.

 

Second patient Gulam Mahdi he is 14 year old his diagnosis is bilateral spastic CP, he is so active boy when we reach his house and he was so happy, his mother said he is going outside with his sister for playing and he showed his exercise it was so good and we do stretching for hamstring cuff muscles and high kneeling exercise and trying to grabing his socks.

 

After that we visited another village Hamree and the patient name is Feza she is 13 year old her diagnosis is bilateral spastic CP. She always put in the room in lying position the parents are not doing exercise always. We do exercise but she was crying because of more spastic and we showed some exercise for her mother.

 

Next patient Mustifa he is 12 year old his diagnosis is Hemiplegia right side he is going to normal school he is totally independ on his ADL. We give him colour pencil, colour book.

 

Next patient Nasima Banoo she has gone to another place that’s why we cannot meet her. Last patient Shar Banoo she is 28 year old her diagnosis is bilateral CP her father is expired  before a long time ago she is living with her grandfather we do exercise walking with therapist support . So we went back to Kargil. On the way back home we stopped for a tea.
