Children need hope, they need REWA
Children need hope, they need REWA

Indian volunteer Tania has mesmerizing experience with REWA

Mesmerizing Experience at REWA, Leh

“The land of desert!

The land of Lama!

The land where unconditional love, compassion, and beauty prevails, is the land of Leh-Ladakh".

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every person associated with REWA starting from the director to the manager, colleagues, driver bhaiya and cook aunty who gave me the opportunity to work at REWA centre as a Psychologist and deliver the mental health services with the best of my potential and competence. Each and every person including children there were welcoming and accommodated us (me and my colleague, Kiruthiha) with a lot of acceptance and love. I offer my profound gratitude and appreciation to the organization that provided us the best accommodation for stay which was filled with services served with unconditional love and compassion.

One thing that struck me the most in the process of work, was REWA doing a commendable job by providing services for children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and other physical disability in such hard climatatic conditions and the kind of acceptance people hold towards these children in Leh is something worth appreciating.

I loved working at REWA for a month and the mesmerizing experience at Leh and the need for professionals to provide mental services to people there calls me back. Heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to REWA for a lifetime memorable experience.
