Our founding child Rigzin has now grown into a tall young woman who was given the name Stanzin by the Dalai Lama.

Thanks to public support, she and her mother were able to fly to a therapy centre in southern India, where they are currently staying for two months. Her mother and sister are being trained and instructed in support measures so that they can use them in everyday life in the future.

The recommendation of the local doctors was to provide her with customised aids. Among other things, she needs a customised wheelchair to prevent postural damage and to be able to participate better in everyday life thanks to the integrated table. However, financing through public funding is not possible.

We are therefore delighted that we have been able to finance the customised wheelchair for Stanzin thanks to the loyal support of our donors.
