We
started from Leh to Nubra at 7:30 a.m. on 24th of July with Susi
and Tundup around 8:30 a.m. We reached Nubra Valley using the world
highest motor road with 18,380 feet
We have fifteen patients at Nubra valley.
FIRST
PATIENT
Our first patient is at Khardong village; her name is Dachen Youden
having C.P. and M.R. She wears orthopedic shoes. She got those shoes
from Ladakh Hilfe. But now the shoes are broken and we took them
with us for repair because at Khardong there's no shoe maker. With
her mother helping we did exercises with her.
SECOND
PATIENT
His name is Tsewang Dorjey and his right leg turns inside while
walking So he falls once a week. He did his exercises very well
during the therapy
We brought a jacket, pencil and ball for him. He goes to school,
he is in 3rd class and he is good in school.
THIRD
PATIENT IS
Tashi Dolker, but we can't make therapy with her because she is
M.R. We tried to get her admission in Chuchot Hostel.
FOURTH
PATIENT IS AT HUNDER VILLAGE
Her name is Jigmet and she has Spina Bifida. She is very shy and
we tried to make therapy with her but she was hiding so we could
not treat her.
FIFTH
PATIENT IS
Stanzin, she is four years old with C.P. We did exercise with her
and showed her mother some new exercise. She can open her eyes only
a very little bit, they are almost shut. We told her mother bring
her to doctor.
SIXTH
PATIENT IS
Norchin with problems in her shoulder, arm and hand. We did exercise
together and showed her parents what do. We told her parents tell
to see to it that she does it every day.
SEVENTH
PATIENT IS
Disket Angmo, with hemiplegia on her right side. She is walking
on the tip of her toes and we did exercise together and showed her
mother also.
NINTH
PATIENT IS
Stanzin Chozang, having C.P. He goes to school but he is not really
good at school. He walks very uncoordinated and his balance is very
bad. We did therapy with him and also showed his mother.
TENTH
PATIENT IS
Gatso, we didn't reach him because he lives in a restricted area.
But his mother told us they come to Leh in August so we can see
him then.
ELEVENTH
PATIENT IS
Men from Sumus he suffered from a fractured spine after an accident.
But he is better now because he is doing very good exercise. He
is happy when we visit him and happy to learn some new exercise,
he did very good.
TWELFTH
PATIENT IS A WOMEN
Phunchok Dolma, having C.P. We can't make therapy with her because
family doesn't like that some people touch her, except her family
members. I asked her mother shall I do little therapy with her then
they said no please.
THIRTEENTH
PATIENT IS
Tsering Dorjey, we visit him at home but he is very shy, he went
out and didn't come back. We brought shoes and pencil for him. He
goes to school.
FOURTHEEN
PATIENT IS
Rigzin Dolker, having Spina Bifida. We didn't meet her because she
had not been at her home for 15 days. She was visiting relatives.
FIFTEEN
PATIENT IS
Stanzin Skaldar, he is not at home. He went to Leh with his grand
mother because of the summer holidays.
