Icehockey-Camp in Domkhar, January + February 2008

TRIP TO DHOMKHAR GONGMA WITH SPECIAL COACHES FROM CANADA

Report from Kunzang Dolma

On 21st of January 2008 we started our Journey towards this village, along with the whole team of Health-Inc. and four children from winter sport club, the locals from Dhomkhar Gongma and the half team of Ladakh Hilfe.

To write in simple words it was a wonderful trip. The camp was pretty hard but we were trying our best.

Now I write about my experience I got from this trip:
We had a 10 hour long and freezing bus ride. But in the end we got a hearty welcome from the villagers. After reaching the community hall we had some tea and cookies. Then we saw many beautiful young ladies who wore traditional dresses. Then they did some speech by the head of the villagers and Organisers. We got dinner and went very tired to bed.
