Fieldtrip to Da Hanu September 2009

DA HANU FIELD TRIP AND TEMISGAM

Participants: Thomas, Dolkar and Anja


We started our journey towards Temisgam at 8:40am. After we reached in Nimoo village, there we had our breakfast around 9:30, afterwards we started to Temisgam. First we went to Tia village there we treated our patient his name is-
1. S. > Diagnosis -CP
Treatment - we did lots of exercise for knee control, standing on the window we did stretching his knee…
2. S. Y. >Diagnosis-Multi Disease Muscular Dystrophy history - since birth.
She is improved day by day now we are thinking that we visit once a year… we are gave lots of exercise for home work.
3. S. j. -> Diagnosis - unknown
4. U. c. >Diagnosis -polio Treatment - little bit foot mobilization and hand coordination. She does all sport teaching in school other kids.
We started our next journey towards to Dha Hanu at 9:30 am after we reached around 12:30 in Hanu Thang. We cooked our lunch in a very beautiful place and we eat our lunch there after we start to Hanu Gongma. First we went to Gongma village.
1. Z. H. > Diagnosis -CP
They are coming to Leh on winter holiday for treatment.
2. T. L.> Diagnosis- Mental retardation with crossed eyes
T. L. was in school and we bought some drawing books, colors, normal shoes and some motorical games for her. For the future she needs occupational therapy.


It was really wonderful trip and also I have learnt some more physiotherapy from Anja and Dolkar.
