Participants:

We started our journey from LEH to Chumatang around 8:30 am, which
is 140 kilometers from LEH. We directly went to our first patients
with Down syndrome. She is 9 years old, she needs a special teacher,
so we planned to send her Karu school, but she lives in Skidmang.
The second patient was Tundup Tsering with deformation of hand,
arms, feet and leg. He can move inside the room, can drink water
and tea by his own and plays with his brother's mother, who is taking
good care of him.
Third patient is Ishey Dolma with Hemiplegia. We showed her sister
some new exercises. She gets tried when she is walking long distance,
we made inlay for her shoes to correct the hyper supination
Fourth patient is Rinchen Dolma with scoliosis, but she was not
at home.Then we came back to Chumathang.

Working
with the Nomads
2ND
day, 31-11-2008
We went to Nyoma, which is 40 kilometer's from Chumathang. First
we visited Nawang Chonzom with C.P. She is 34 years old. Mostly
she is lying, she got wheelchair from us. Her mother is doing exercises
with her.
Second patient there is Urgein. His right side leg is shorter then
the left one. He is 34 years old. We showed him some new exercises
and brought him new sunglasses.
Third patients visit was with a brother and sister. The mother is
not at home and they are in hurry because of school results, so
we didn't treat them.
Fourth patient is Konchok with hemiplegia. He is 25 years old, but
was not at home, so we came back and started our journey to Tsomoriri-Lake
or Korzok, where the Nomadic people live.
3rd day, 1-11-2008,
Here I am going to write about a new patient whom we found in the
Nomadic area. Nomadic people always live in his place because they
live with Yaks and Pashmina goats.For this people life is so difficult
because this place is so cold.

Patient:
Her name is Skarma Stanzin, she is five year old with hemiplegia
since birth. We made soft splint for her right foot and we gave
her shoes and showed some exercise for her foot. Her mother is happy
to get some exercise for her child.

Chuskit
is cooking for the team, we always bring our own food and cooking
utensils
1st
known patient ist Chemit Tsewang. He is 13 years old and he needs
a special teacher. We brought some easy writing book and sun glasses
for him and we advice his father to give him more home work, to
challenge him to do more.

Looking
for the nomadic tent village
2nd
known patient is Tsewang Tsomo, she is 9 years old and she is studying
in the Nomadic school with hostel in Puga. She is in 4th class.
Her right leg is shorter then the left one.
After Stomo we went to Tsokar Lake where we visit our last patient.
His name is Tsering Namgial and he needs a special teacher. He is
9 years old with no schooling at all. We brought some easy easy
books for him. We will try to get his admission in Chuchot hostel.
He was our last patient, and then we came back to LEH by way of
TAKLANG LA, world third highest road. We reached back at LEH 8:30
pm. This trip was good because we found some new patients and that
made us happy.
