Temisgang Field Trip April 2011

We started our field trip on 21st of April with Andre, Lisa, Chuskit and taxi driver Yountan. We visited our earlier patient at Dha Hanu and checked them, they are doing well and Namgail started to walk and he is going to school at Hanu Kongma.
We visited him at school and we talked with the teacher about him and showed her how to do the exercises and his parents were also there.

We got new patients from this village. They are coming to Leh for checkup. Zakir is fine and he is also going to school, we checked him and did exercises together. He got improvement and is doing well.

On the way we did a survey at Domkhar village and Skurbuchen village. We get one child at Skurbuchen village. The child will leave for Leh with his parents on Tuesday, he is coming to R.A.C. I talked with his father about him.

Next day Temisgang one child was sick, we brought a belly board for her.
Our two patients are studying in one school. We visited them at school and checked their shoes and continued the therapy. Too bad they both did not have their splints with them.
We were at Jigmet Tsewangs home and the grandmother told us that they are doing daily therapy with her.
And the last patient at Temisgang: she is also going to school. She got lots of improvement and we did therapy with her.

Then we went to Alchi village. There we have one new patient. He is two years and four months and he just started walking. We do not have a diagnose yet.
