On
March 13th we started our journey toward this village. It was very
nice trip. First we went to Timisgam. We arrived at Namra guest
house at 6 pm . We took a rest and had nice tea. After few minutes
we had our dinner.
On
March 14th we started to do our home visit toward Tia at 8 am. When
we finish our home visit then we went direct our journey to Biama
village arrived at 5:30 pm. We stayed in Dak Bungalow for 3days.
It is a hot and beautiful village, very traditional and different
from our culture, way of living, thinking and also the language
is totally different.
On
March 15th we went to Hanu Gongma. There were four patients and
two from Hanu Thang.
Spalzes from Hanu Thang: Her legs are worse, she does not go to
school because of pain in legs, but she is very interested in school.
I was thinking that I could contact Madam Spalzes (same name!) from
Nirlac. Maybe the girl can go to Chuchot hostel; it might be good
for her. I could contact Health Inc. also, because I think they
may be able to arrange another surgery. On March 16th we went to
Dak Hanu, where we visited two patients. After lunch we went to
Garkon village; there was one child.
On
March 17th we came back to Leh, but on the way there in Khaltse
village there was one child patient. He is staying in Moravian mission
school in Khaltse. We met a principal and one teacher from America.
She is a special teacher helping our patient in school. We got a
new patient from Nimo village then we visited there. Then we arrived
in Leh. at 5:30pm.
It was a wonderful trip and we enjoyed taking care of the patients.
