For the 4th year in a row we were present at the Weitsicht Festival in Frankfurt, put on by Dieter Glogowski. We informed the festival visitors about the work of Ladakh-Hilfe with the help of a information stand, posters and handouts..

Last year the impressions of the Weitsicht had prepared me a bit for my still outstanding trip to Ladakh, this year I was able to tell the people about my experiences as a volunteer for Ladakh-Hilfe in the remote area of Ladakh. It was very nice to tell the "old" volunteers about the many changes and the growth of our work and I had fun preparing the "new" volunteers for their time in Ladakh. I also really enjoyed meeting Johanna Komp, the woman that had put the initial add in the physiotherapy magazine looking for professional care for the disabled child in Lingshed, Himalaya. The network of volunteers is growing and our community of people with same interest is expanding. I believe we were able to inform many people about our non-profit work in Ladakh.
