Parents meeting cum workshop June 15th, 2010

To prepare for the parents meeting all local staff members and the volunteers decided to meet up at the R.A.C sharp 9: am. So after we all meet up we split in a group, like in this way that Othzer and Thugjay left for buying Samosa ( Indian snacks) for refreshment, we cooked tea at the R.A.C. and Norbu, our driver, left to pickup all parents from their home addresses.

Volunteers and us, the rest of the local employees, prepared the topics on a different diagnosis and about the normal development of the child. So we fixed some pictures and some information on the wall.
In the mean while Mr. David came to look how we are preparing and we had some tea together.

It was 11: 15 am when we started our meeting cum workshop with all of the parents from the special children; during this time I heard again how interested and happy they are about our work.
As usual it was so pleasure for me to start up the programme, so I welcomed all of the parents and then told them about our plans and what's going on these days with our work.

They were so happy to know about our new small hostel and that we are planning to build up the play ground soon.
After that I and Chuskit did select some specific and important topics to explain to them.
Somehow it went so nice and it was a convincing day for both sides. They also did ask lots of questions regarding their children.
After one and half hour we finish up and had hot teas and Samosa's (Indian Snack) with all parents and staff.
