The Inauguration
of the Munshi Habib-Ullah Mission School in Kargil on 2. November
was a great event for REWA n Kasco in Kargil. By the generosity of
Mr. Gulzar Munshi and his family they donated two rooms in
the ground floor of the school to the purposes of REWA. Those rooms
will be used as a office and for the treatment of the children with
disability in the Kargil district in the care of REWA n KASCO.
We are so happy about the rooms and the possiblity to include some
of our children in the programm of the regular school. Special wheelchair
ramps and toiletts are being built to accomodate children with special
needs. One of our children, Munawar
Hussain, will be enroled in this school very soon.
The physically challenged boy will be picked up by the services of
the school and included in the school programm for education for free.
We
still need all the office quipment, computer, heating, furniture,
therapy needs for the rooms and a suitable car (Jeep or bus) for transportation
of the children. Only after we have the funds to purchase those needs
we are able to open the REWEA Centre in Kargil.
Die Eröffnungszeremonie
der Munshi Habib-Ullah Mission Schule fand am 2. November mit einem
großen Fest in Kargil statt. Für uns war das ein besonderes
Ereignis, denn im Erdgeschoß dieser neuen Grundschule wurden
zwei Räume speziell für die Arbeit von REWA hergerichtet
und an REWA n KASCO kostenlos übergeben. Wir danken Mr. Gulzar
Munshi und seiner Familie für diese Großzügigkeit
und für die besonderen Überlegungen, die gesamte Schule
rollstuhlgerecht auszubauen, um die Kinder mit Behinderungen in den
Schulbetrieb mit integrieren zu können. Im Frühjahr wird
eines unserer Kinder, Munawar
Hussain, in die Vorschulklasse mit aufgenommen und zugleich
bei REWA therapiert werden. Der gehbehinderte Junge wird vom Fahrservice
der Schule abgeholt und nach Hause gebracht; zusätzlich werden
seine Ausbildungskosten von der Schule übernommen.
Noch
müssen diese Räume von REWA mit allen notwendigen Geräten,
Heizung, Büroausstattung usw. eingerichtet werden. Zusätzlich
fehlt auch in Kargil ein entsprechendes Fahrzeug, mit dem die Kinder
transportiert werden können.Deswegen können die Räume
offizielle erst in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn oben genannte Voraussetzungen
erfüllt sind.
