Children need hope, they need REWA

Dr. Jayna Agrawat helps REWA, September 2017

Dr Jayna Agrawat is a  pediatric physiotherapist working with specially abled kids for the past 6 years in Mumbai. She has completed her post graduation from Seth GS medical college and KEM hospital Mumbai in neuroscience (MPTH Neuro).

She read about REWA Society on the net an asked if she could come and help. REWA was very happy for Dr. Jaynas application and finally in September she was able to come and look at the work of REWA and check the children. She was very suprised about the great standard of therapy in remote area in Leh, also the technical equipment that had been donated from Germany. Her and Barbara Forst had exchanged ideas and plans. With Karola Wood she discussed means of support for REWA for future. There is a urgent need for qualified pediatric physiotherapist coming from India to support REWA. with Manager Dorjay she had professional talks and they exchanged ideas.

Dr. Jayna also took over some teaching sessions for the staff, working on ribcage breathing techniques and also gait training.

Thank you so much Dr. Jayna Agrawat for taking your time and expertise and donating it to the specially abled children of Ladakh!
