Dolkars first presention about the work of Ladakh-Hilfe/Rewa, July 2010

It was in the morning when I was sitting in the office and getting ready for the R.A.C. But what am I seeing: a lady was approaching theEWA office and asked if I have a time to talk a little bit about REWA/ Ladakh-Hilfe. Then I welcomed her and offered her some herbal tea for drink. After I explained her everything, she was so happy and wanted to introduce us to her group, who was staying on the same time in a near hotel Omasila; she is the team leader of that whole group. She also did introduce herself, coming every year with a largest travel agency called STUDIOSUS REISEN from Europe.
She did promise me that she will tell her group about us and asked me if I can do small presentation for this group to get some donation. Of course I said yes, if they have time for us, and she took my mobile number. After she left I went to meet the all staff members and told them about the meeting with this lady.
Around at 2: pm, I received a phone call from those people asking me to come at 5: pm to the Omasila hotel for the presentation. Oh! I was so happy and volunteers suggested for me to take along one volunteer for help. So I and Alex went there with our REWA flyers and some printed pictures from our disabled children.

Finally it was exactly 5: pm, when we reached there and met the all the people from the group and I held my first presentation. It went so well and we received 200 euro, 30Dollar and 630 Rupees from this group.
The team leader also promised me that she will write a report about this meeting and will send it to all of her friends. After a short tea we left from there and the next days they invite us for culture show programm to watch with them.

So it was also nice that they invited us and the culture show was so wonderful.
In the future I wish that I could get more and more chances to do presentations and can help Ladakh-Hilfe to raise the funds.
