MAC
in Dezember 2007
In
Ladakh are many holidays at the moment, therefore we had only two
ore three children at the MAC during the last weeks. With six therapists
they got the chance for a very specific treatment.
Besides learning how to wash hands before lunch, as a new ritual we
integrated the brushing of the children's teeth after lunch. Most
of them are not used to this healthy habit, so they had bleeding gums
in the beginning. But most of them obviously enjoyed it and they did
very well.
For about one week we had a new child at the MAC. Stanzin is a blind
boy who really loves to get in touch with someone. So after a little
shyness he especially liked the singing, clapping of hands and getting
in touch with the others.
To make the most of the warm winter sun we always go out after lunch
for dancing and playing ball all together.
