have moved - now even closer to the RAC
Im letzten Sommer fanden einige
Veränderungen bei REWA Leh statt. Wir mußten unserer bisherigen
Managerin Dolkar aus bestimmten Gründen leider kündigen,
um wieder Vertrauen und Professionalität in die Arbeit in Leh
zu bringen. Leider mussten deswegen auch die Volontäre aus den
von uns angemieteten Räumen im Gästehaus von Dolkars Mutter
ausziehen. Zuerst brachten wir sie im RAC unter, aber nun sind wir
in der tollen Lage, drei Zimmer mit Bad und kleiner Küche ganz
in der Nähe des Therapiezentrums anzumieten. Das erste Zimer
wurde bereits am 14.Oktober bezogen. Mit in diesem Wohnkomplex wohnt
Kunzang, unsere langjährige Mitarbeiterin in Physiotherapeutin,
die ab jetzt für die Betreuung der Freiwilligen zuständig
ist.
Unter der Leitung unseres neuen
Managers Stanzin Chokla, M.P.D., arbeitet das Leh und das Kargil Team
und die Freiwilligen nun unter professioneller Führung, REWA
hat die Härteprobe mit Bravour überstanden.
Last summer
important changes took place in Leh. We are sorry to report that we
had to give notice to Dolkar, our longtime manager, and had to let
her go so we could restore trust and professionalism into the work
in Leh. One thing led to another and we also had to move our staff
quarters out of the rooms that we rented from Dolkars mother. For
the time bein we put up the volunteers in the RAC , but we are very
happy to announce that we found three very nice rooms with bath and
kitchen close to the RAC, only 5 Minutes walk away. Kunzang, our long
time employee and physiotherapist, also lives there and she will be
responsible for the volunteers and their stay in our new rooms.
Our new manager Stanzin Chokla,
M.P.D., has already been able to change many things for the better
and proves to be a professional and thorough leader with lots of love
and dedication for his work. REWA has mastered this crisis in a strong
manner and moves on to do the job better than ever.
